well, i thought perhaps it's about time to post a poem after so long...

earth’s psychedelic lollipop

Grey melded, iron bolted jail
Bright yellow streak---danger!
Keys, locks, jingle, jangle
Clanging noise of entrappment.

Swirls of cotton candy,
White and delectably pouffy.
Golden shaft of luminence,
Glowing upon a path of hope.

Let there be dark,
Let there be light.

Let there be day,
Let there be night.

Let there be noise.
Let there be silence.

An overturned bowl of heaven.
